The Veterinary Service, Livestock Development, Pastures, and Feed under the Ministry of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan has introduced the "Unified System for Accounting and Registration of Breeding Farms and Artificial Insemination Points." This digital platform aims to simplify processes for farmers, freeing them from bureaucratic hassles and creating a transparent market for high-yield livestock.
Now, breeding farm owners can easily apply for or confirm breeding status online, as well as receive official electronic certificates without leaving their homes.
The automation of the assessment process for farms eliminates subjective decisions and the human factor. At the center of the system is a unified electronic register that displays real-time data on all certified farms and artificial insemination points. This significantly facilitates livestock breeders' search for quality breeding semen and specialist services, which in turn contributes to the improvement of the gene pool and the increase in livestock productivity in the country.
Moreover, the new system serves as an important strategic tool for the state. The unified digital database allows for the analysis of the state of breeding affairs, the implementation of modern solutions in selection, and the enhancement of overall industry efficiency. Developers are confident that creating such a high-tech environment will make Kyrgyz livestock more competitive at the regional level, providing farmers with access to reliable information and modern animal breeding methods.
