In Kyrgyzstan, the control of animal products has been automated
The Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry has initiated an information campaign aimed at implementing automated systems in this field. The most important of these is "Sanarip VET," which ensures complete control over the movement of animals and animal products, as well as converting veterinary documents into electronic format.
As of today, the system is successfully operating at all veterinary border checkpoints and territorial administrations. Specialists and inspectors use "Sanarip VET" daily for the mandatory registration of all products and animals entering Kyrgyzstan. Now, the issuance of veterinary documents, including certificates and inspection reports, is done electronically, eliminating the need for paper documents that complicate control and increase the risk of falsifications.
The system is integrated with the state platforms "Tündük" and the Unified Identification System Infocom, which allows for the verification of electronic documents using digital signatures. Currently, four types of veterinary certificates for the EAEU and 49 types of certificates for goods from third countries are being issued. This significantly speeds up the process at the border and increases its transparency.
The main goal of implementing "Sanarip VET" is to ensure the identification and traceability of all products under veterinary control, prevent the import of counterfeit products, and enhance food security in the country. Furthermore, the system simplifies interaction between the central office of the veterinary service, its territorial divisions, and border checkpoints.
The Ministry reported that currently, 35 information systems are functioning, of which 22 have already been fully implemented, and 10 are under development. "Sanarip VET" is considered one of the most significant, as it directly impacts the safety of animal products and the effectiveness of veterinary control.
