In Kadamzhai, farmers are being trained in future technologies

The seminar "AgroZooVet-2026" gathered participants in the Kadamjay district of the Batken region and was organized by the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The main objective of this event was to promote a modern approach to agriculture among farmers, veterinarians, and agronomists. The primary focus was on improving productivity in livestock farming and developing processing enterprises aimed at export.

During the seminar, three key areas were discussed. Participants were introduced to the latest technologies, including the advantages of drip irrigation and the selection of seeds adapted to climate change. In the field of veterinary safety, aspects of improving animal health, the effectiveness of artificial insemination, and compliance with international standards were discussed. In the processing and export segment, specialists talked about supporting local enterprises working with apricots and walnuts, as well as ways to bring domestic products to international markets.

The ministry noted that through the "AgroZooVet-2026" project, they aim to connect scientific achievements with practical application, emphasizing the importance of adhering to modern veterinary standards and producing quality products to ensure the country's food security.

Among the seminar participants were local farmers, agribusiness experts, and specialized professionals. Given the relevance of the issues discussed, the Ministry plans to continue organizing similar training seminars throughout the country.
