According to him, frequent consumption of alcoholic beverages leads to increased mortality, the breakdown of social ties, and contributes to the rise of crime and domestic violence.
Regular consumption of alcohol can lead to serious negative consequences, including an increase in the number of divorces and crime rates.The deputy is confident that a ban on the sale of alcohol during nighttime will help reduce the levels of violence and crime associated with alcohol, as well as protect public health by decreasing instances of abuse and alcohol dependence.
According to the proposal, the sale of alcohol will be prohibited from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM the following day, with a few exceptions:
- the sale of alcohol carried out by organizations and individual entrepreneurs that are agricultural producers and provide catering services;
- the sale of beer and other low-alcohol beverages carried out by individual entrepreneurs within the catering sector;
- the sale of alcoholic products in duty-free shops for individuals leaving Kyrgyzstan.
