At a meeting held at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the results of operational and service activities for 2025 are being reviewed. The press service of the Cabinet reports that the event is attended by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev, Minister of Internal Affairs Lieutenant General of Police Ulan Niyazbekov, as well as the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the chief specialists of structural divisions.

During the meeting, attention is drawn to the achievements in the work of law enforcement agencies, the implementation of the "Safe Country" project, as well as the improvement of service quality for citizens and the formation of priority areas for further activities.

Opening the meeting, Ulan Niyazbekov highlighted the main results of the work for 2025, noting that the Ministry of Internal Affairs is actively implementing modern technologies and digital solutions in the field of public safety.

According to the announced data, the crime rate in the country has significantly decreased, and the detection rate of crimes has improved. The Ministry of Internal Affairs ensured safety during more than 120 mass events, preventing serious violations of the law. In addition, over a hundred new modern service buildings have been opened in the republic, which has positively impacted the working conditions of employees.

In accordance with the president's directives, the transition from the "Safe City" project to the "Safe Country" project continues. The first phase of this initiative started in June 2025. A tourist-ecological battalion with modern equipment has been established in the Issyk-Kul region, which has contributed to a decrease in crime during the tourist season.

The minister emphasized that the Ministry of Internal Affairs not only maintains order but also improves services for citizens, preventing nearly 10 thousand crimes in 2025.

The implementation of the second phase of the "Safe Country" project is planned for 2026, during which more than 20 thousand video cameras will be installed across the country, new digital programs will be introduced, and the security system in public places and tourist areas will be significantly modernized.

Concluding his speech, Ulan Niyazbekov noted that the Ministry of Internal Affairs consistently fulfills the assigned tasks and takes effective measures to ensure the safety of the population.

Adylbek Kasymaliev outlined the key areas of future activities for the Ministry of Internal Affairs, emphasizing the importance of strengthening the rule of law and public safety. During the meeting, he also presented state awards to employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs who have demonstrated outstanding results in fulfilling their official duties.
