The President and representatives of the People's Kurultai proposed their candidates. The head of state nominated Ulukbek Chynybaev, a prosecutor from the Aksy district of the Jalal-Abad region, while the People's Kurultai supported Almazbek Aydarov. Both candidates were approved by the deputies without discussion.
From the parliament, the candidates included Bekmurza Ergeshov and Kubanychbek Samakov. As a result of the secret ballot, Bekmurza Ergeshov received support from 52 deputies, while Kubanychbek Samakov garnered 22 votes.
Thus, the Council for Justice Affairs now includes Ulukbek Chynybaev, Almazbek Aydarov, and Bekmurza Ergeshov.
The Council is responsible for selecting candidates for vacant positions in the Constitutional, Supreme, and local courts.
