In his speech, he quoted the directive from the theater's director, which stated that the Minister of Culture instructed to transfer the land plot with the utility building to the Ministry of Finance and to complete the relocation of inventory by February 13.
“This building houses decorations and costumes. However, in winter, they are forced to move, which causes dissatisfaction among the theater staff,” the deputy noted.
Deputy Minister of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy Marat Tagaev added that this utility building was previously rented but was then returned to state ownership.
“This is the utility yard of the theater, which has been abandoned for a long time. A decision has now been made to use it for other purposes. The theater has been allocated a plot of 25 acres in the city center, and the funding issue has already been resolved. Construction of a new utility building will begin soon,” the deputy minister reported.
Seyidbek Atambaev urged his colleagues to visit the site before February 13 to discuss the situation with the theater staff and make further decisions.
