After the resignation of Kamchybek Tashiev, the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) noted that "unfounded accusations" are actively spreading in the information space, which may undermine public trust in state institutions.

The committee's press service pointed out the need to refrain from harsh criticism of the agency's employees, emphasizing that they act in accordance with the Constitution and current legislation.

The GKNB reminded that their work is guided by the principles of legality, objectivity, and accountability to society, while also highlighting priorities such as ensuring state security, protecting citizens' rights, and combating terrorism and corruption.

The committee emphasized that all emerging issues should be resolved within the legal framework, based on verified information.

Damaging the reputation of state bodies without evidence negatively affects not only the specific agency but also the level of trust in general.

The GKNB called on the public, the media, and officials to refrain from "intensive criticism" of their employees, who, according to them, "perform their duties responsibly and conscientiously."

Assurances were given by the agency that work to ensure the country's security will continue with full consistency and principledness in the interests of the people.

It should be noted that on February 10, President Sadyr Japarov signed a decree relieving Kamchybek Tashiev of his duties as chairman of the GKNB and deputy chairman of the cabinet of ministers.

Jumgalbek Shabdanbekov has been appointed as the acting chairman of the GKNB.

Additionally, three deputy chairmen of the GKNB were also dismissed.
