In recent days, experts, including foreign analysts, have been actively discussing personnel changes in Kyrgyzstan. Perhaps the public is tired of complex political analyses, which is why we decided to offer an alternative perspective on the situation by providing a forecast from a seer.
Attitudes towards predictions can vary. Some people take them seriously, while others view such things with irony. Nevertheless, it is worth noting that the predictions of Sveta Toigonbaeva sometimes come true. For example, in 2017, she predicted that Almazbek Atambayev would face an increase in opponents, and at the beginning of 2020, she predicted the release of Sadyr Japarov after the parliamentary elections.
This time, Toigonbaeva shared her feelings about the year 2026, reporting on possible changes in Kyrgyzstan. She believes that the country is facing a challenging period.
Personnel Changes
According to the seer, the country will face various challenges ahead, including social and medical ones.
“My inner feeling suggests that 2026 may be a difficult year for Kyrgyzstan. I sense that the country will have to confront certain challenges. I do not rule out the possibility of viral diseases emerging, so medical professionals need to be particularly vigilant. I also see that many former politicians and officials will reappear on the political scene, and a female leader may take a prominent position,” she noted.
Economic Challenges
Toigonbaeva believes that issues related to resources and relations with neighboring countries will become key.
“The economic situation may cause concern among the population. I anticipate that the unemployment rate will rise, and some construction projects will slow down. Although housing will continue to be built, there will be significantly fewer large factories and plants, according to my inner feeling. Problems with water and energy in the region may become more acute. Coal and gold deposits need to be developed within the country, avoiding complete dependence on external investors.
I do not feel any particular warmth in relations with Moscow; rather, it is restraint. I also assume that there may be difficulties at the border with Kazakhstan, possibly even its closure. Therefore, authorities should start dialogue between our countries today. A border conflict between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan is also not ruled out,” she added.
Leaders of the Country
Toigonbaeva's forecast emphasizes the current leaders and possible changes in their status.
“When I think of President Sadyr Japarov, I see a person with great ambitions, but there is also concern — he needs to take better care of his health. It may be difficult for him to make a single decision, as many factors influence the situation. At certain moments, he will face difficulties,” said the seer.
As for Kamchybek Tashiev, discussions around him will continue. His current condition can be considered stable, although the path ahead will be challenging and unclear. I believe he will not return to Kyrgyzstan in the near future, but much will become clearer in the next three months.
Toigonbaeva also commented on other political figures:
“Former Prime Minister Akylbek Japarov has a chance to return to big politics and take one of the key positions. Kanybek Tumanbaev is expected to face changes, possibly not for the better. Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu, the speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh, will remain in his position and continue to fulfill his duties despite the pressure.
Officials should not go to Umrah, as good deeds can be done on native soil — such care resonates more with people. After the presidential elections, personnel changes can be expected, possibly a complete renewal of the government composition.”
Overall, Toigonbaeva believes that Kyrgyzstan is preparing for significant changes that may seriously affect the future of the country.
