The special service emphasized compliance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic in its activities
In the press center of the GKNB, it was reported that there are information leaks aimed at creating the impression of confrontation between various law enforcement agencies.
“By the instruction of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, a series of activities were conducted by the Military Prosecutor's Office in conjunction with the GSU of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning a number of former GKNB employees suspected of exceeding their official powers during their service,” the agency clarified.
All actions were carried out in full compliance with the current legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic, adhering to procedural norms, and the leadership of the GKNB was timely informed about the progress of the activities.
As reported by the press service of the GKNB, decisions on personnel matters were made within the framework of the existing legal norms.
“As a result of the inspection, important personnel decisions were made. Those who committed violations were dismissed from their positions and excluded from the national security agencies. These materials have been forwarded for a final legal assessment,” the GKNB added.
Government agencies continue to strengthen legality and discipline, as well as to prevent corruption and other unlawful actions. Every employee, regardless of their position, bears personal responsibility before the law.
The GKNB also confirmed that work will continue to enhance transparency and strengthen public trust in state structures.
The National Security Committee noted the presence of certain information leaks that distort facts and present the situation as a confrontation between law enforcement agencies.
“We declare that such statements are unfounded and aimed at undermining trust in state institutions. All law enforcement agencies operate within the framework of the law and interact, striving to ensure national security and public order,” the GKNB stated.
Attempts to artificially create an image of conflict between agencies are destructive and can destabilize the socio-political situation.
The special service calls on citizens, media representatives, and public figures to rely only on official sources and to remain calm.
The GKNB will continue its consistent work to protect the interests of the state and society, ensuring legality and security.
“We emphasize that there are no untouchables in the state system (GKNB, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Prosecutor General's Office of the Kyrgyz Republic, Military Prosecutor's Office, judicial system, GNS, etc.). Every civil servant, regardless of their status, must be held accountable for their actions,” concluded the special service.
