Jumabekov addressed Justice Minister Ayaz Bayetov, asking him to read some articles, the meaning of which was unclear in Kyrgyz.
“There is a lack of meaning here, even though important aspects are being discussed. It is shameful to refer to the fact that the law was created in Russian, while the Kyrgyz version has shortcomings. What would happen if this law went unnoticed?” the deputy exclaimed.
The Justice Minister agreed with the criticism and promised to take the expressed remarks into account.
It is worth noting that Dastan Jumabekov has raised similar issues before. Previously, former parliamentary speaker Turgunbek uulu Nurlanbek also emphasized the importance of developing bills first in the Kyrgyz language.
