In his speech in Washington, Tokayev noted: “I would like to propose the establishment of a special award from the Council of Peace in honor of President Trump, as a sign of recognition of his outstanding efforts in peacebuilding. I am confident that under your leadership, the Council of Peace will be able to successfully fulfill its noble mission.”

According to him, Kazakhstan is interested in actively participating in recovery and construction processes with the help of international companies that have a high reputation and competencies.

“Our program may include the construction of social infrastructure, including schools, hospitals, and housing. Kazakhstan, as one of the leading global producers of wheat, is ready to provide humanitarian assistance to ensure food security in Gaza and beyond,” added Tokayev.

In addition, Kazakhstan plans to provide more than 500 educational grants to Palestinian students for studying at universities in the country over the next five years.
