Tokaev announced readiness to allocate a 'significant amount' to Trump's World Council

Kassym-Jomart Tokaev also proposed to hold meetings of the World Council in Kazakhstan and to establish an award named after Trump. The country has become one of the leading participants in the new World Council, which was initiated by the President of the United States, expressing its readiness to contribute financially, provide humanitarian assistance, and participate in stabilization missions.

The inaugural meeting took place in Washington at the Donald Trump Peace Institute. The summit's opening was accompanied by popular musical compositions from Trump's campaign events, and participants were given MAGA-style caps with the inscription "USA".

“What we are doing is very simple — it’s peace,” Trump stated, adding that this word is easy to say but difficult to implement in practice.

He noted that the World Council should become a new mechanism for resolving global conflicts, and the U.S. will allocate $10 billion for its activities. “When you compare this amount to the costs of wars, it seems insignificant. It sounds like a lot, but in reality, it is very little,” he emphasized.

Trump also thanked the countries that agreed to support the reconstruction of Gaza, including Kazakhstan. “Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, UAE, Morocco, Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan, and Kuwait — these are the states that have taken on commitments,” he noted.

According to the U.S. President, nine countries have already formed a aid package amounting to $7 billion. “Every dollar spent is an investment in stability and hope for a new and harmonious region,” Trump added.

During his speech, Tokaev confirmed that Kazakhstan is ready to make a specific contribution to the work of the World Council. “Our meeting at the Donald Trump Peace Institute is taking place at a time when decisive actions are extremely important. It is important to build a durable peace through practical steps, not endless conferences with resolutions based solely on good intentions. Your clear vision and far-sighted approach to global peace have inspired our country to join the World Council,” he said.

The President of Kazakhstan emphasized the country's readiness to promptly allocate financial resources. “Kazakhstan is ready to contribute a significant amount directly to the World Council. The program, primarily funded by our government, may include the construction of infrastructure, housing, schools, hospitals, and other vital facilities, as well as debris clearance. We are committed to fully fulfilling our financial obligations,” Tokaev noted.

In addition to financial assistance, Kazakhstan offered significant humanitarian and educational support. “As one of the largest wheat producers, our country is ready to help ensure food security in Gaza and beyond. We plan to allocate more than 500 educational grants for Palestinian students to study at our universities over the next five years. We are also ready to share our experience in e-government and other digital solutions,” he added.

Kazakhstan also expressed its readiness to participate in an international stabilization mission. “We are ready to send medical units with field hospitals and observers to the Civil-Military Coordination Center,” Tokaev reported.

Earlier, the commander of the stabilization forces confirmed that Kazakhstan has become one of the countries that agreed to send a contingent to the mission.

Tokaev emphasized that Kazakhstan views the World Council as a new international platform. “The world has not yet seen such initiatives — this is an unprecedented step, and the project 'Peace through Creation' has every chance of becoming a reality thanks to our joint efforts,” he noted.

The head of state added that Kazakhstan also intends to promote regional cooperation. “Guided by this, Kazakhstan has decided to join the Abraham Accords, contributing to pragmatic economic and humanitarian cooperation in the region and beyond,” he stated.

Furthermore, the president proposed to hold meetings of the World Council in Kazakhstan and expressed the initiative to establish a special award named after President Trump in recognition of his contributions to promoting peace. “I am confident that under your strong and far-sighted leadership, the Council will successfully fulfill its noble mission,” Tokaev concluded.

Thus, Kazakhstan has already positioned itself as one of the most active participants in the new structure at the first meeting of the World Council, ready for financial commitments, humanitarian programs, and participation in international stabilization missions.
