Kyrgyzstan Expresses Solidarity with Bahrain and Oman Amid Middle East Conflict

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, Jeenbek Kulubaev, discussed the current state of affairs in the Middle East with the heads of the foreign ministries of Bahrain and Oman. They expressed hope for a swift resolution to the tensions in the region.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, on March 4, Kulubaev had a conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain, Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani. During the conversation, he conveyed words of support from President Sadyr Japarov, noting concern over the escalation of the situation affecting the territory of the kingdom.

The parties expressed a desire to restore dialogue in the political and diplomatic spheres, as well as to take steps to bring peace and stability to the region.

Additionally, Kulubaev also contacted the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Oman, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi. During their conversation, they exchanged views on current issues related to security and stability in the region.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan conveyed words of support and solidarity from the President of the country to the people of Oman and its leadership, thanking them for their assistance in returning Kyrgyz citizens from the Gulf countries.

At the end of the negotiations, the ministers emphasized the importance of resolving conflicts exclusively through peaceful means to stabilize the situation in the region.

On February 28, Israel and the USA conducted strikes against Iran. Donald Trump announced the intention to eliminate the nuclear program of the Islamic Republic.

In response, Iran began launching strikes against Israel and other countries in the Middle East where US military bases are located. The strikes targeted Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Abu Dhabi, and Dubai (UAE), as well as Riyadh (Saudi Arabia).

As a result of the US-Israeli operation, the Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was killed. Later, his wife, Mansure Khojasteh, also died from injuries sustained in the attack.

Trump stated that the operation in Iran would last about four weeks. A jihad was declared in Iran against the USA and Israel, assuring that there would be no negotiations.
