According to information provided by the Cabinet of Ministers, the new aircraft are expected to arrive in Kyrgyzstan by the end of 2026.

Adylbek Kasymaliev, the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, emphasized that the agreements reached are a result of mutual trust and the intention to build long-term relationships. He also noted that the introduction of modern aircraft will significantly improve the quality of civil aviation in the country.

“Previously, the development of our aviation industry occurred inconsistently due to a lack of support. However, in recent years we have seen significant changes. The strategic decision by the President to create the State Agency for Civil Aviation under the Cabinet of Ministers has given a new impetus to our sector,” he added.

According to the Cabinet of Ministers, from 2021 to 2025, the number of passengers served at airports in Kazakhstan increased by 52%, while the number of flights rose by 53%.

In 2023-2024, international audits by ICAO confirmed that Kyrgyzstan's aviation system meets international standards.

The effectiveness of aviation security was 85.76%, which is significantly higher than previous indicators.

Authorities are confident that this creates conditions for Kyrgyzstan to be removed from the list of countries with aviation security restrictions by the European Union. A final audit by the European Commission is expected to take place in the coming days.

President of Airbus Europe Johan Pelissier expressed readiness to continue cooperation for the development of the aviation industry and the implementation of joint initiatives.

It is anticipated that the aircraft will be operated by the national airline "Asman Airlines," which is a subsidiary of OJSC "Airports of Kyrgyzstan." This will help improve the level of comfort for passengers, expand the flight network, and strengthen the republic's position in the international aviation arena.
