The working trip of the delegation from Kyrgyzstan, organized at the invitation of the Union of Mediators of the Turkic World, was aimed at studying the system of mandatory pre-trial mediation in Turkey. An important moment of the visit was the tour of the Mediation Center in Ankara, where participants were able to see how pre-trial reconciliation serves as a mandatory step before turning to judicial authorities.

During the visit, Orozbek Sydykov and the chairperson of the Supervisory Board of the Republican Community of Mediators (RCM), Gulsina Kozhoyarova, held meetings with high-profile representatives of the Turkish government, including deputy ministers of justice, culture, and tourism, as well as the leadership of the Court of Cassation and heads of the TİKA and YTB agencies. As a result of the negotiations, strategic agreements were reached, the implementation of which will begin shortly. In particular, a large-scale project is planned for 2027, aimed at training new mediators in all regions of Kyrgyzstan with the involvement of Turkish specialists. Additionally, employees of the Ministry of Justice of Kyrgyzstan will have the opportunity to intern at Turkish universities, and special agreements will be developed for citizens of both countries in the field of mediation. This exchange of experience is intended to significantly improve the effectiveness of out-of-court dispute resolution and strengthen legal ties between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey.
