
The company DK Consultants, located in South Korea, has agreed to supply 100 ambulances to Uzbekistan. This decision was made during a visit by a delegation headed by Deputy Minister of Health F. Toshpulotov.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed the prospects for deepening cooperation in the healthcare sector and implementing new projects.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Health, a memorandum was signed for an amount of 7 million US dollars, which provides for the financing of the supply of 100 ambulances through grants from the company, aimed at improving the operations of the 103 service in the country.
The procurement of modern vehicles is planned to take place in the first half of 2026.
During the meeting, proposals were also considered regarding the transfer of Clinical Hospital No. 7 in Tashkent under a public-private partnership, as well as the possibilities for constructing a new treatment facility at the Republican Specialized Scientific-Practical Medical Center for Endocrinology.
The South Korean side expressed interest in actively participating in improving Uzbekistan's healthcare system and confirmed its readiness for fruitful cooperation.
