Along with this decree, the president also dismissed Aibek Moldogaziev, who previously represented Kyrgyzstan in the USA, and appointed him as the new ambassador to Mongolia.
Aibek Artykbaev was appointed as the ambassador to Mongolia in July 2023; prior to that, he held the position of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Aibek Moldogaziev, who became the ambassador to the USA in December 2024, also had experience working as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.
