According to the press service of the Sverdlovsk District Department of Internal Affairs, on February 1, a woman reported an attack to law enforcement. On the same day, she claimed that in their home, located in the residential area of Nizhny Ala-Archa, her husband beat her while threatening her with a firearm.
Based on this incident, the Investigative Committee initiated a criminal case under Article 138, Part 2 (Torture) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The suspect, a citizen identified as K.O., born in 1968, has been detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
Additionally, the pistol was seized and sent for examination.
The investigation is ongoing.
