According to information from law enforcement agencies, the incident occurred in Lower Ala-Archa on the same day. The man, while in his home, used physical force against his wife and threatened her with a pistol.
In connection with this fact, the investigative department of the Internal Affairs Department of the Sverdlovsk District initiated a criminal case under Article 138, Part 2 "Torture" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
A 57-year-old man has been detained in Bishkek for threatening his wife with a pistol and using violence. The suspect, born in 1968, was apprehended by police officers in hot pursuit and taken to the investigative department. In accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, he has been placed in the temporary detention facility of the Main Internal Affairs Department of Bishkek.
The weapon was seized and sent for examination. The investigation of the criminal case is ongoing.
