A group of citizens, including Emilbek Uzakbaev, Kurmanbek Dyikanbaev, and Bekbolot Talgarbekov, was detained on suspicion of organizing mass riots.

According to information provided by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, in recent days, news has emerged in the media and social networks that "75 citizens appealed to President Sadyr Japarov and Chairman of the Jogorku Kenesh Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu, calling for the urgent organization of new presidential elections." Among those who signed the appeal were scholars, former prime ministers, ex-deputies, and well-known public figures.


Some of the ideas expressed in the appeal have sparked active discussions in society and heightened tensions in the socio-political situation in the country, as noted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

In connection with these events, the investigative service of the ministry opened a criminal case under Article 278 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning mass riots, and the detainees were placed in a temporary detention facility.

It is worth noting that Bekbolot Talgarbekov was one of the initiators of this collective appeal, which called for the immediate holding of new presidential elections. A total of 75 people signed the document, including scholars, former prime ministers, ex-deputies, and activists.

Earlier, the president's press secretary clarified that when Sadyr Japarov spoke about preventing a split, he meant not only Kamchybek Tashiev but also individuals such as Bekbolot Talgarbekov, Emilbek Uzakbaev, and others.
