According to law enforcement agencies, on December 13, 2025, T. A. reported to the police that unfamiliar women, introducing themselves as Ch. and N., managed to gain her trust and, between November 18 and December 2, received jewelry worth a total of 36 million soms at one of the shopping malls on Kurmanjan Datka Street.
After receiving the items, according to police data, the women sold them to a pawn shop at a reduced price, and the money obtained was not returned, and they disappeared.
A criminal case has been initiated for fraud under Article 209 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Employees of the Internal Affairs Department of the Sverdlovsk District, during operational search activities, were able to establish the identities of the suspects — Sh. Ch., born in 1985, and S. N., born in 1988. They were taken to the investigative authorities and placed in the temporary detention facility of the Bishkek City Police Department.
The investigation is ongoing.
