During the criminal investigation under Article 336, Part 1 ("Corruption"), it was established that K.B.B., born in 1972, while serving as the director of the RBC, conspired with the head of the company OsOO "M". According to the investigation, his goal was the illegal extraction of budget funds on a large scale, which was manifested in the installation of expensive medical equipment — a Cobas S201 PCR laboratory and an ARCHITECT Plus and ABBOTT laboratory.
Furthermore, the director signed a contract with OsOO "M" for the supply of reagents for the PCR and IHL laboratories at the RBC. For five years, the company supplied reagents at inflated prices, and as a "kickback," transferred a certain amount of money to the director.
According to the results of the financial and economic audit, the damage caused to the state from 2020 to 2025 amounted to 36 million soms.
On March 5, the former director was placed in the GKNB pre-trial detention center, and a legal assessment of the actions of the head of OsOO "M" will be conducted.
The name K.B.B. corresponds to Karabaev Bakyt Baisalbekovich. According to the GKNB, he held the position of director of the RBC from 2012 until August 2025.
