Turmush previously reported that both drivers died as a result of the collision, however, information about the presence of other victims is still being clarified.
According to preliminary data, after the incident, the injured were urgently transported to medical facilities — to the hospital in the village of Ananyevo and the Issyk-Kul district hospital. Among the injured were three members of one family:
- father, born in 1960;
- daughter, born in 1990;
- two-year-old granddaughter.
On March 28, the girl was transferred to the children's clinical emergency hospital in Bishkek (Jal microdistrict) with a diagnosis of a fracture of the left femur.
The father and daughter underwent surgery immediately after being admitted to the hospital and are currently under the supervision of doctors in the intensive care unit.
Law enforcement agencies reported that the final information about the number of deceased and injured is still being clarified, and the investigation is ongoing.

This incident occurred on March 27, 2026, around 15:00. According to preliminary data, the driver of the "Mercedes-Benz E420," born in 1987, a citizen M.D.B., was traveling east on the highway. At that time, another driver, born in 1979, was driving a "Volkswagen Passat" and was turning from the left side of the road.
To avoid a collision with the exiting "Volkswagen," the driver of the "Mercedes" maneuvered, resulting in him entering the oncoming lane through a gap in the dividing barrier. As a result, a head-on collision occurred with a "Renault Samsung SM6," driven by citizen Zh.K.A., born in 1988.
Both drivers — the one driving the "Mercedes-Benz E420" and the one behind the wheel of the "Renault Samsung SM6" — died at the scene from their injuries.
