The plot, covering 2,700 square meters and containing buildings, was illegally privatized with a change in its intended use.
During the inspection, it was revealed that such privatization contradicts presidential decree No. 37, adopted on February 16, 1995. This decree prohibits the sale of social infrastructure facilities, regardless of the state's share in the authorized capital of the respective enterprise. These facilities cannot be sold to third parties, even if they were transferred free of charge or remained on the balance sheet.
The disputed territory and the buildings located on it have been returned to state ownership and are now under the jurisdiction of the mayor's office of the southern capital. The GKNB emphasized that this decision is aimed at improving urban infrastructure and enhancing the quality of life for citizens.
