This information was announced by Nursultan Akylbek uulu, the chief specialist of the legal department of the Osh city administration.
“The land plots of kindergartens No. 18 and No. 20, the kindergarten 'Aidanek', as well as the schools named after Panfilov, Shevchenko, S. Sharipov, and Kirov are now under the balance of the city administration thanks to the court's decision. In the case of the school named after Makarenko, issues regarding illegal constructions around it are currently being considered. During inspections, 70 hectares and 65 ares of land have been returned to municipal ownership, and work continues on transferring an additional 35 hectares,” he noted.
According to the press service of the city administration, the deadline for demolishing illegal constructions located around educational institutions has been set for March 1.
Mayor Zhenishbek Toktorbaev discovered a number of illegal structures during the inspections. He instructed the relevant services to completely clear the areas around the schools of these constructions by the specified deadline.
In particular, the following were identified:
- 3 structures around school No. 8 named after Gorky;
- 5 structures near school No. 6 named after Makarenko;
- 12 structures next to school No. 57 named after Tajimatov.
Warnings have already been issued to the owners of the mentioned structures.
Additionally, there was previously a court case regarding the 'Kapital' bank, which is located near the school named after Makarenko. The first instance court ruled for the demolition of this building, as the bank lost the case.
The court also decided to return the land plots of the following institutions to municipal ownership:
- schools named after A. S. Makarenko, Rudaki, Pushkin, kindergartens No. 15 and No. 3, Osh Regional Children's Hospital, Osh City Hospital, Osh City Children's Infectious Disease Hospital.
Currently, court proceedings are ongoing for the return of other social facilities.
