He was caught red-handed while receiving money from foreign citizens who did not have legal work permits. It is reported that he extorted amounts ranging from 5,000 to 20,000 soms monthly, threatening fines and deportation in case of refusal.
After his detention, the inspector was placed in the temporary detention facility of the State Committee for National Security. Currently, efforts are ongoing to identify possible accomplices and other facts of their illegal activities, as stated in the official announcement.
