At the press conference, Khodjazoda also noted a number of projects under his supervision. In particular, restoration work has been completed on sites such as Khoja Nakshroni in Tursunzade and Muhammad Bashor in Pendzhikent, while the restoration of the Mumunabad fortress in the Khatlon region is still ongoing.

On the initiative of President Emomali Rahmon, archaeological excavations have recently been conducted at sites related to the Bibikhonum monuments in Bokhtar. Additionally, for the first time in the years of Tajikistan's independence, research has also been carried out in Khulbuk — an archaeological complex located in the Khatlon region.

During these works, archaeologists discovered more than 190 artifacts, including jewelry, coins, glassware, ceramics, seals, and other elements of epigraphic heritage. As the agency's director emphasized, an archaeological base will be established in Khulbuk on a plot of land covering 1 hectare.

In total, the agency's archive has been supplemented with 220 passports of sites, and the library has received over 1500 copies of scientific and artistic literature donated by leading scholars of the country.

During the press conference, projects dedicated to the 35th anniversary of Tajikistan's independence, which will be celebrated in September, were also discussed. In particular, the construction of a two-story building for the State Institute of Ethnology in Istaraavshan and an "Archaeological Base" with the support of local entrepreneurs is planned. In Gissar, the design of an administrative building for the State Institution of Historical and Cultural Heritage has been completed, which is expected to be built by the holiday.
