An unusual incident occurred on January 24 in Tongjiang County, located in Sichuan Province, when a local farmer decided to use a drone to transport pigs. However, during the first attempt, the cable holding one of the animals got tangled in a high-voltage power line, which caused the accident, according to information from the South China Morning Post.

As a result of this incident, the village was left without electricity for nearly ten hours. To address the aftermath of the accident, the energy company deployed 12 employees. The estimated cost of the recovery work was around 10,000 yuan (approximately $1,400). Full restoration of the power supply occurred only by 5:00 PM that same day.

The police found that the farmer may have violated legislation, as the drone was used in a no-fly zone and was also overloaded. If his guilt is proven, he could face administrative penalties and be required to compensate for the damages.

The story quickly went viral on Chinese social media platforms. Users joke that the pig "achieved fame before its demise" and became a true "flying legend."
