
The event, which will be held for the 14th time, aims to develop specialized tourism, extend the season, increase the flow of tourists during the winter period, and promote active and healthy leisure. The festival also seeks to popularize the unique traditions and cultural heritage of the country, supporting extreme winter sports and adventure tourism.
International and national championships in ice archery are planned, as well as city competitions in snowboarding, paragliding, winter rugby, alpine skiing, and curling. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to try their hand at amateur and family relay races in ice climbing, tug-of-war, and the "Great Tour" for students in the tourism sector.
Festival guests will be offered demonstrations by paragliders, as well as displays featuring Mongolian bankhar dogs and falconry. A wide variety of food, ski and sled rentals, and artistic performances for the audience are also expected.
It is anticipated that over 1,000 athletes from Ulaanbaatar and all 21 aimags will participate in the event. Furthermore, more than 50 athletes have registered from regions such as the Autonomous Region of Inner Mongolia, the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China, the Republic of Buryatia, the Republic of Kalmykia, and the Republic of Tuva from Russia, as well as from the Republic of Kazakhstan and the USA.
