The meeting took place at the CSTO secretariat, where issues related to the organization's work and its current projects were discussed. Omuraliyev and Hiroyuki emphasized the need to develop cooperation between the CSTO and Japan, based on mutual interests. During the discussions, the parties exchanged views on the interaction of CSTO member states and observers with Japan, as well as on possible formats for cooperation with third countries within the organization.
Additionally, current issues related to events both in the region and beyond were discussed.
