The Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic commented on the information that appeared on social media, stating that women in labor were allegedly in the corridors of the Kyrgyz Scientific Center for Human Reproduction.

Currently, the Reproductive Center has expanded its postpartum department, added additional beds, and created all necessary conditions for accommodating patients.
Although the Center is designed for 80 beds, it is currently accommodating 106 women, as it is a third-level institution serving women with complicated pregnancies from all regions of the country.
According to the Center's director, Nurgul Shoonaeva, the number of births in 2025 increased by a thousand compared to the previous year, highlighting the growing burden on the maternity care system.
The Ministry of Health noted that all women receive medical assistance when indicated, and no refusals for hospitalization have been recorded.
Despite the existing difficulties, the Center's staff work around the clock and take all necessary measures to ensure the safety and quality of medical care, the agency added.
