On the air of "Birinchi Radio," cardiac surgeon Nurlan Koshoybek uulu spoke about the symptoms that require urgent medical attention.

According to the specialist, manifestations of cardiovascular diseases can be diverse. These include discomfort or pain in the chest area, as well as tingling sensations. The pain may radiate to the arm, jaw, or between the shoulder blades. These symptoms can be short-lived, but they are a compelling reason to consult a doctor.

Particular attention should be paid to shortness of breath, especially during physical activity, which is also a warning signal. "When such symptoms appear, it is extremely important to seek medical help," noted the cardiac surgeon.

Nurlan Koshoybek uulu added that before the arrival of an ambulance, all physical activities should be stopped, and calmness should be maintained. If aspirin is available at home, it can be taken, but only according to previously established recommendations. Self-administering other medications is not recommended. Fresh air should also be provided while waiting for medical personnel.

The specialist also discussed the diagnostic process: first, clinical manifestations are recorded, followed by tests, an electrocardiogram, echocardiogram, and other necessary examinations. In the case of a myocardial infarction or damage to the coronary vessels, the "golden hour" is critically important—the first two hours when timely intervention can save a life and significantly improve the patient's quality of life.
