The Ministry of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan recently published a video explaining the process of phytosanitary certification. This process is an important element of state control in the field of export and circulation of plant products. Certification is a necessary condition for bringing domestic goods to international markets, as it certifies the biological safety and absence of quarantine pests in the products.
Thanks to active digitalization within the agency, the process of obtaining a certificate has become more transparent and faster. The export pathway for agricultural producers now includes four key stages: submitting an electronic application through the state information system, receiving consultations, conducting laboratory tests on selected samples, and finally, issuing the official certificate. This sequence of actions significantly reduces bureaucratic barriers and ensures complete traceability of each batch of goods.
Experts emphasize that phytosanitary certification is a matter of trust from international trading partners. Strict quality control of products by the state contributes to strengthening the country's export potential and forming a sustainable agricultural economy. In the modern world, a phytosanitary certificate is not just a document, but a true guarantee of safety and professionalism of Kyrgyz agricultural producers.
