At present, 65 projects are actively being implemented. In 2024-2025, 14 new PPP agreements were signed, covering areas such as transportation, logistics, agriculture, ecology and waste management, tourism, education, and telecommunications. The total amount of attracted private investments for these projects exceeded $3.9 billion.
Among the significant projects signed in 2025 are:
- the creation and operation of the "Kelechek" toll tunnel on the Bishkek—Osh highway;
- the implementation of the "Trans-Eurasian Route" project;
- the construction of an eastern bypass road around Bishkek;
- the establishment of a trade and logistics center in Kara-Suu.
In 2025, several PPP projects related to social and regional infrastructure were also completed and put into operation, including medical facilities and educational innovation centers.
In October 2025, the IV International Conference on PPP was held in Bishkek, where agreements were reached with the Eurasian Development Bank on the implementation of environmental projects in waste management. The EDB became an important international partner of the PPP Center.
In 2025, as part of institutional development, the PPP Academy was established in collaboration with the EDB. This project aims to train specialists and create a professional reserve for the public-private partnership sector.
Additionally, in 2025, amendments to the PPP Law came into effect, which include:
- a simplified process for launching small PPP projects;
- the possibility of providing municipal land and property without bidding at a reduced rental rate.
According to estimates from the PPP Center, the changes made have significantly increased the investment attractiveness of PPP mechanisms and reduced administrative barriers for businesses.
