This new consortium will bring together various structures, including government bodies, financial institutions, educational organizations, and international partners. The initiative aims to enhance the transparency and effectiveness of government policy in the field of small and medium-sized businesses.
The Ministry of Economy and Commerce will serve as the secretariat of the consortium, gaining the authority to coordinate the activities of participants and monitor the implementation of decisions made.
The decree notes that decisions made by the consortium's coordination council will be mandatory for all members and government bodies. All ministries and agencies are required to provide support and interact with the consortium in key areas of small and medium-sized business development.
The Cabinet of Ministers has been tasked with developing and approving a Support and Development Program for SMEs by 2030 during the second quarter of 2026. The program should include the following areas:
- stimulating youth entrepreneurship and unlocking innovative potential;
- supporting women entrepreneurship and expanding opportunities for women;
- promoting social business and creating jobs for vulnerable groups;
- developing entrepreneurship at the regional level;
- forming production clusters and enhancing technological competitiveness;
- developing a creative economy focused on innovation and export.
