At the two-day B5+1 business forum held in the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Minister of Economy and Commerce Bakyt Sadykov emphasized the importance of business as an integral part of economic reforms. He noted that business should be viewed not only as a participant but also as a co-author of these processes.
Addressing representatives of the business circles of Central Asia and the USA, the minister pointed out that the B5+1 format marks a new stage in regional cooperation. According to him, business is becoming an important driver of change, gaining the opportunity to directly present its proposals to both governments and international partners.
Sadykov highlighted three key aspects of the forum that hold strategic significance for Kyrgyzstan. First, it is the strengthening of regional cooperation in areas such as logistics, trade, and energy, which requires coordinated actions. Second, he noted the need to improve the business climate, where business initiatives aimed at reducing administrative barriers and digitizing public services fully align with the ongoing reforms in the country. Third, the development of international partnerships, where the involvement of the USA creates additional opportunities for trust from investors and access to new technologies.
In conclusion, Bakyt Sadykov noted that the main message of the forum is clear: Central Asia is a region open to cooperation, reforms, and new opportunities for international business.
