In Kyrgyzstan, systematic training of specialists in civil drones will begin

In Kyrgyzstan, an important step has been taken towards the development of the civil sector of drone technologies. The Kyrgyz Association for the Development of Drone Technologies and Adam University have signed a memorandum of cooperation, which will serve as the foundation for training specialists and implementing engineering solutions in the civil economy.

The document was signed by Rector Svetlana Sirmbard and Association Chairman Alexander Kim. The memorandum focuses on the civil use of drones, covering areas such as agriculture, ecology, cartography, logistics, and infrastructure monitoring. Within this partnership, special attention will be given to the development of vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) drones, overseen by Ilyas Isayev, a member of the association.

The management of Adam University expressed its readiness to actively participate in the creation of modern educational programs and support scientific research. Svetlana Sirmbard noted that drone systems are seen as an important tool for the development of science and education.

Alexander Kim emphasized that, despite the framework nature of the memorandum, this is a necessary step towards forming a professional community and engineering school in the country. Experts believe that the collaboration between business and educational institutions will be a key factor in creating high-tech projects in the field of UAVs in Kyrgyzstan.
