- In Kyrgyzstan, the implementation of a state program aimed at preferential lending for breeding livestock has begun. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry.

According to the information, the interest rate on the issued loans is 3% per annum.

Support under the program is available for agricultural producers, breeding farms, and farms listed in the list approved by the Cabinet of Ministers, as well as for individual entrepreneurs engaged in the import of breeding livestock and insemination technicians.

Various breeds of cattle are supported under the program, including Alatau, Hereford, Holstein, Simmental, Ayrshire, Brown Swiss, and Galloway.

The ministry noted that this program is aimed at supporting local livestock breeders, increasing herd productivity, improving the genetic potential of agricultural animals, and strengthening the country's food security.
