At the new livestock market located in the village of Chym-Korgon, in the Kemin district of the Chui region, the price of a 2.5-year-old bull is 350,000 soms. A Turmush correspondent conducted a survey among sellers to find out the current prices.

Stalbek, a livestock breeder from the Alamudun district, noted that overall prices for livestock remain stable.

“Prices have not undergone significant changes — they remain at an average level. For example, sheep for farms cost about 15,000–20,000 soms, while lambs are priced at 10,000–15,000 soms. Half-bred sheep are valued at 20,000–30,000 soms, while purebred Arashans cost over 50,000 soms. I have 50 pregnant ewes, each of which I sell for 25,000 soms,” he said.

According to traders, the price of cattle varies depending on their condition and breed.

“Prices for calves range from 70,000 to 130,000 soms, while young calves cost from 50,000 to 80,000 soms. Cows with calves can be purchased for about 150,000–200,000 soms, and pregnant heifers are around 130,000. Yesterday, a 2.5-year-old bull of the 'Mobilyar' breed was brought to the market and was valued at 350,000 soms,” the report states.

Entry to the livestock market in Chym-Korgon costs 50 soms for large cattle and 20 soms for small livestock.
