The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, Adylbek Kasymaliev, summarized the preliminary results for 2025 at a staff meeting in the President's Administration.

According to the head of government, the growth rates of the country's gross domestic product (GDP) confirm high achievements at both regional and global levels.

“In 2025, the economy maintained high growth rates, exceeding 11% over the past two years (2024–2025). This confirms the effectiveness of our economic policy and the correct direction of development,” noted Kasymaliev.

The GDP volume in 2025 amounted to 1 trillion 976.4 billion soms, which is approximately equal to 2 trillion soms, and according to revised data, by the end of the year it is likely to exceed 2 trillion soms. For reference: in 2022, GDP amounted to 1 trillion 21 billion soms.

Over three years, the gross domestic product has doubled. In 2025, the real GDP growth rate was 11.1%, leading to an average annual growth rate over the past four years of 10.2% — a very high figure both in the region and in the world,” added the Chairman of the Cabinet.

Kasymaliev also noted that all sectors of the economy contributed to growth:

The most noticeable growth was observed in pharmaceuticals — 170%, in the food industry — 30.1%, in the production of rubber and plastic products, as well as construction materials — 35.7%. Car production nearly doubled, while chemical products increased by 19.8%, and mining showed a growth of 14.2%.

“The volume of investments in fixed assets increased by 18.4%, amounting to 374.6 billion soms, which is a record figure and 100 billion soms more than in 2024. Of these, 24% of investments, or 90.3 billion soms, were financed from the republican budget, which is 42.7% more compared to 2024,” concluded Kasymaliev.
