The initiator of this draft law was the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers.
The Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce, Benazir Nurlanova, emphasized that the purpose of developing the draft law is to ensure economically justified prices, protect the interests of the population, and improve the quality of life for citizens. It is also aimed at maintaining a balance between business sustainability and consumer interests.
She added that the draft law proposes the introduction of a pricing regulation method, whereby profitability will be set at a level that promotes business development while preventing unjustified price increases.
