During the conversation, the president emphasized that cultural ties play a key role in the development of bilateral relations.

Japarov also expressed satisfaction with the successful holding of the Days of Russian Culture in Kyrgyzstan in 2025. He is confident that the opening of the Kyrgyz House of Science and Culture in Moscow will soon contribute to strengthening cultural ties.

In addition, the president spoke about the upcoming sixth World Nomad Games, which will take place in Kyrgyzstan this year, and invited the Russian team to participate in this important event.

Sadyr Japarov highlighted the digitization of the cultural space as one of the key directions. An important element in this context is the legacy of the outstanding Kyrgyz writer Chingiz Aitmatov, who has become a symbol of spiritual unity between cultures.

Mikhail Shvydkoy, in turn, conveyed greetings from Russian President Vladimir Putin to Sadyr Japarov and noted that Kyrgyzstan is particularly close to him, as he closely follows its development. He also pointed out that the country demonstrates some of the highest economic growth rates in the world due to stability and thoughtful planning.

Shvydkoy emphasized that 2028, when the centenary of Chingiz Aitmatov will be celebrated, will be an important date uniting the peoples of the two countries, as well as the year of the 200th anniversary of Leo Tolstoy. He proposed to jointly celebrate these events by creating an organizing committee led by the deputy prime ministers of both countries.

At the end of the meeting, Sadyr Japarov and Mikhail Shvydkoy confirmed their interest in further cooperation and expressed confidence that joint efforts in the field of culture and humanitarian dialogue would contribute to deepening bilateral relations.
