Kyrgyzstan and Germany Discussed Expanding Economic Cooperation

- On January 21, Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce Sultan Akhmatov held a meeting with Niklas Wagner, who is the Commissioner for Eastern Europe, the South Caucasus, and Central Asia at the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Germany to Kyrgyzstan, Monika Lenhard, also participated in the event.

During the negotiations, a constructive dialogue took place, during which both sides discussed key areas of potential Kyrgyz-German economic cooperation. The main focus was on issues related to trade development, attracting investments, training and educating youth, as well as promoting the principles of a green economy.

The parties expressed mutual interest in expanding cooperation and implementing joint projects. The meeting was held in a trusting and productive atmosphere, confirming both sides' readiness to strengthen bilateral relations between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Federal Republic of Germany.
