- The meeting between the Minister of Energy Talaybek Ibraev and representatives of the consortium GPRC, NRP, and KCG, Konstantin Panovko and Alexander Ong, took place at the initiative of the Ministry of Energy. The press service of the department reported on this event.

During the meeting, the minister proposed to consider the possibility of creating thermal power plants (TPPs) using the country's coal resources.

The consortium representatives expressed their readiness to develop, finance, and construct three TPPs, each with a capacity of 350 MW, totaling 1050 MW. The project will be implemented using clean coal technologies that meet international standards.

It was also emphasized that the consortium has significant experience in the construction of similar facilities.
