According to the First Deputy Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry Janibek Kerimaliev, Kyrgyzstan will face a shortage of water resources in 2026. This statement was made during a radio broadcast. Kerimaliev noted that the ministry received instructions to conduct autumn sowing on an area of 250,000 hectares. “Previously, we were only processing 100-150 thousand hectares; such volumes did not exist,” he emphasized.
