Six countries, including Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Uruguay, and Spain, have expressed concern over the actions of the United States in Venezuela, describing them as "an extremely dangerous precedent." This was reported by the BBC.

In a joint statement, the governments of these countries accused the U.S. of creating threats to international security and peaceful coexistence, noting that Washington's actions have jeopardized the lives of civilians.

The countries call for peaceful resolutions to the conflict in Venezuela, emphasizing the importance of dialogue and negotiations as the only viable way forward.

The statement also raises the issue of external control, which the authors believe contradicts the principles of international law and threatens the stability of the region politically, economically, and socially.

The document states: "We strongly express our concern regarding unilateral military actions on the territory of Venezuela, which violate the fundamental principles of international law, including respect for the sovereignty of states and the prohibition of the use of force enshrined in the UN Charter."

It is worth noting that on January 3, explosions occurred in Caracas. Later, it became known that the U.S. Air Force conducted a special operation, resulting in the capture of Nicolás Maduro, the former president of Venezuela, along with his wife, who were then forcibly taken and placed in one of the prisons in New York, as reported in the news.

Maduro is accused of leading the criminal organization Cartel de los Soles, which has been designated as a terrorist organization in the U.S., as well as conspiring with Colombian drug cartels involved in the production and transportation of cocaine, along with his family and close associates.

Additionally, the former president of Venezuela is accused of trafficking in diplomatic passports and using thugs to eliminate competitors in the drug trade.
