Asel Chynbaeva, the Commissioner for Children's Rights, participated in the launch of the second stage of the information caravan aimed at preventing violence against children.

The press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reports that the events took place in four schools in the Kochkor district of the Naryn region.

From February 9 to 12, the Secretariat of the Commissioner for Children's Rights, in collaboration with the Public Association "Children's Protection Center," initiated the second stage of the information caravan, which is part of the implementation of the Action Plan for fulfilling the recommendations of the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child regarding the inadmissibility of violence against children. This stage will last until November of this year.

The main goal of these events is to instill in children an active life position based on respect for themselves and others, which is possible through positive upbringing in the family and a safe educational environment.

In total, about 450 schoolchildren and 280 of their parents participated in the events.

As part of the information caravan, educational activities were held on the theme "Let's unite efforts for the safety of children." During these events, meetings were held with teachers, parents, and representatives of local authorities, focusing on issues of violence prevention and strengthening the child protection system at the local level. Practical sessions on positive parenting were also organized, and psychological consultations were conducted to improve relationships between children and parents.

The continuation of the information caravan is planned in the Chuy, Issyk-Kul, and Osh regions.

In the first stage of the information caravan, events took place in 12 schools, including 6 in the Issyk-Kul region (Tyup and Jeti-Oguz districts), 2 in the Chuy region, and 4 in Bishkek. A total of 1,300 students from grades 7-11 and 620 parents participated in these events.
