According to the mayor, residents had long expressed concerns about the illegal use of land belonging to this school. “Some plots that are part of the school territory were transferred into private hands in violation of the law, and trading points operated on them. This posed a threat to the safety of the educational process and negatively affected the upbringing of students and the preservation of school property. As a result of an inspection by the prosecutor's office of the Uzgen district, violations were identified, which led to the corresponding official demand. In light of this, the mayor's office and the department for managing municipal property took measures to free these facilities,” he noted.
Eldos Taev added that the returned land plots are now back under the management of the educational institution. “In total, this is 289 square meters, where 9 trading points were previously located. After consultations with experts, it is possible that these spaces will be used to create classrooms or storage areas,” the mayor reported.
Additionally, he stated that this year a complete inspection of the land plots of schools and kindergartens in the city will be conducted, and lands that were transferred into private hands will be returned.
Now the area of the school is 1 hectare and 15 ares, having increased by 289 square meters.
