At the customs clearance zone "Railway Station," employees of the Main Directorate for Combating Smuggling of the Northern Railway Customs conducted an inspection of postal shipments arriving from China. As a result, a batch of synthetic fishing nets weighing 11.80 kg was discovered, which are prohibited for import into the territory of Kyrgyzstan.
According to the State Customs Service, a representative of the company OsOO "R.K." stated that they were not aware of the existing ban on the import of such goods.
This case contains signs of a violation of the legislation of Kyrgyzstan. Materials related to this case will be forwarded for further investigation in the established manner.
These activities are conducted in accordance with Presidential Decree No. 131 "On Urgent Measures to Preserve the Ecology of Lake Issyk-Kul," as well as within the framework of the directives of the State Customs Service.
